VERU NARULA IS THE CO-AUTHER OF

The Vital Breath

The novel, "The Vital Breath " is a love story of two soul mates. Through the practice of Yoga, four distinct characters from four different religions gain greater attunement to their bodies, emotions, political tolerance and, ultimately, their spirits. The purpose of the novel is to heighten individual consciousness of global Ahimsa, resistance through non-violence. The authors would like to communicate with mankind today through this book the message that with the practice of Yoga, individuals raise their own consciousness, personally and socially, thereby promoting and attaining equality of the human soul that was previously unattainable. The central metaphor of The Vital Breath is the physical, social, and spiritual betterment of mankind. The authors take the reader on a gripping multi-century journey, in which the roots of the partition of India and Pakistan and the effects of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in America are explored.
