‘Parting is such sweet sorrow, that it shalt be felt, till it tis’…60 years later. Nuclear-armed rivals India and Pakistan have had a fatal love affair with democracy, territory borders, and religious fervidity.

The work compares the affair between ‘star-crossed lovers’ Romeo & Juliet and the diplomatic relations between India and Pakistan. “The two lovers are surrounded by the Montagues and Capulets, in the form of past and present Indian and Pakistani leaders.”

Theme: The lust of religious and secular fervor, unruly passion and the realization of love turning to violence.
